AIR ASIA

AirAsia is a Malaysian low-cost airline headquartered in Kuala LumpurMalaysia. It is the largest airline in Malaysia by fleet size and destinations.

AirAsia commenced operations in India on 12 June 2014 with Bangalore as its primary hub. The airline is a joint venture with Tata Sons holding 51% stake in the airline and AirAsia Berhad holding 49% stake. 

​

AirAsia is the first foreign airline to set up a subsidiary in India and the company marked Tata's return to the aviation industry after 60 years.


Now with an ever growing market potential in India, AirAsia calls for more and more recruiting, scouting talented, motivated and disciplined pilots to help them lay their stake in the Indian Aviation market. Therefore, they introduced their Cadet Pilot Programme on the skeletal framework of their already existing CPP in Malaysia.

Eligbility Criteria

- Must be of Indian Nationality or hold an Overseas Citizenship of India

- 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics with an aggregate of 60% & a minimum score of 60% in English, Mathematics & Physics.
Any graduate with a Science background with aggregate of 60% & a minimum score of 60% in English, Mathematics & Physics.

- 17 (Should have completed 10+2) to 33 Years on the date of application.

- Ability to hold a Class I & II unrestricted medical certification.

Selection Process

PHASE 1: Screening of application to check if eligibility criteria is met

PHASE 2: Tests proficiency in language and verbal understanding, numerical proficiency and critical thinking.

​

Phase 3: Assesses one's aptitude to be a pilot. Skills like hand-eye co-ordination, multi tasking management and short term memory are tested. A basic physics test is also conducted. 

​

Phase 4: Personal Interview conducted by a panel comprising senior Captains and HR personnel.

How do I prepare for the entrances?

AP Aviation has a comprehensive opportunity for those who live in/can live in and around Delhi for about two weeks. For the first part of testing, you will be required to attend classes at our learning centre located in Dwarka, Delhi. Here you'll receive complete guidance to not only achieve the minimums required for selection to the programme, but also achieve more competitive grades which will help you stand out in the selection process. 

 

To prepare for the Personal Interview, we have course material that can be studied online and is a purely self paced program. Our experienced instructor has worked with several aspiring candidates who are now successfully training within their respective airline Cadet Programmes. 

 

It includes all relevant information from aviation subjects Air Navigation and Technical General  and a few tips and tricks you will require for the interview right from scratch. 

Once you have studied the relevant notes, you may ask the instructor whatever doubts you have by message (WhatsApp), on call, or via email, whatever is most convenient to you.
